Our team at Rideau Dental on 4th Street is composed of amazing & experienced people who are friendly, warm, and truly love what they do. I am happy to build relationships with our patients and help each feel comfortable at our office. I’ve been with the practice since 1999 and love that I’m still seeing and helping many of the same families. My duties as a dental assistant are comprehensive and varied in our office. I perform many tasks requiring both interpersonal and technical skills. I enjoy working directly, yet independently with the dentist to provide a high level of dental treatment for our patients in a caring and compassionate environment. My husband Doug and I enjoy volunteering with PALS at the Calgary Airport. I also like road cycling and international travel.
I enjoy talking and laughing with our patients, building a bond of trust. It’s important people know we’re here to help them and offer comfortable dental care. My career in the field started in 1994 in British Columbia and in 2001 I joined the team. I work one-to-one with patients, helping them improve their oral and overall health. While assessing their dental health and gently cleaning their teeth, I teach people why it’s important to practice good home oral hygiene. I want people to have lifetimes of healthy, happy smiles! I enjoy travelling, gardening and my ragdoll cats. Everyone knows me as the Maritimer.
